This week Halifax bank unveiled their partnership with street art agency Global Street Art. Whilst advertising and street art is becoming more common-place this is the first time I’ve ever seen “street art” used to advertise a bank. Art agencies such as Global Street Art are seemingly now an ingrained part of the culture and this is in no way an attempt to single them out. Agencies like that have proved to be a useful source of revenue for artists but that said this feels like the right time to ask questions on what lies in store for the future.
The video was a bit rushed, I got my point of focus slightly off at the start and my mic cut out at the end which I didn’t realise at the time but hopefully the message comes across.
